For our June Masterclass, we are delighted to be joined by Farkhanda Butt, Director of the award winning Shire Bed Company.
Having spent most of her working life as a secondary school teacher, Fara joined the family business in 2006, when turnover of the company was around £1million. Faras' vision and strategy have helped the company to grow and become a major manufacturer of beds and mattresses in the region.
Fara is the first chairman of The Furniture Makers’ Company’s Yorkshire and Central and a Liveryman of the City of London, is a main board member of the National Bed Federation (NBF) and chairperson of the NBF marketing committee.
